Why not go on a tour of the BBC at MediaCityUK and walk in the footsteps of some of your favourite celebrities! The BBC have thrown open their doors, so you can take a peek behind the scenes.
With a whole host of BBC channels and programmes including favourites such as Match of the Day, Blue Peter, A Question of Sport, Mastermind, BBC Breakfast, Radio 5 live, CBBC, BBC Sport and the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, to name just a few, their well-informed and friendly tour guides will entertain and surprise you as you walk in the footsteps of your favourite stars. You can also have a go at making your own news and weather bulletin in an interactive studio.
Please be aware that the MediaCityUK Tours are extremely popular and capacity is limited – visit the website to find out correct and up-to-date availability. Pre-booking is essential and tickets are available to buy until midnight the day before your intended visit.
The BBC tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.
Open to anyone aged 9 years and over when accompanied by an adult. However, they also offer a CBBC Interactive Tour for children aged 6-11 years old (see website for more details)
To get to Media City you can catch service 50 from Pendleton or from Manchester City Centre, Art Gallery, both with a short walk to Media City

Tours run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (Fridays during school holidays) at 10.30am, 12.30pm and 3.00pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 10.30am, 10.45am, 12.30pm, 12.45pm, 3.00pm and 3.15pm.
